Stretching and growing with God
Get comfy and everyone takes it in turn to hold their thumbs out and wiggle them up or down to express how they are and how their week has been. Allow everyone to share why. Perhaps share what God has been doing in your life this week. Why not take a moment to pray about what comes up?
Elastic band shot – you’ll need an elastic band or two for this game. Set up some targets on the kitchen table (e.g., a plastic cup, an empty toilet roll or birthday card. Stand at different distances and try to hit the objects down with the elastic band. Allocate each of the objects different points and then give each person three goes each. The one with the most points wins [point: being stretched]

Find a space with your cushion somewhere, bring your journal or paper and pen with you.
Play this worship music video and spend some time asking God to show you the places where God is growing you and how to let Him help strengthen your heart to face challenges and change.
Why don’t you spend some time this week as a family asking God together what He wants to grow in you through this time. Are there any changes you could make in your lives as a family to create room for more of God’s work? Is there anything you could pray for, for each member to help encourage and strengthen them?
