Get comfy and everyone takes it in turn to hold their thumbs out and wiggle them up or down to express how they are and how their week has been. Allow everyone to share why. Perhaps share what God has been doing in your life this week. Why not take a moment to pray about what comes up?

Pictionary – write a list of objects or kids T.V. programmes (or another category) and give each participant one of the names on the list. They have to draw the object/ t.v. programme and the rest of the team must guess what it is. Everybody gets a turn [point: painting a picture of the future]

  2. As Jesus followers why can we look ahead into the future with hope? 

  3. What does the Christmas story tell us about God’s heart for us?  

Find a space with your cushion somewhere, bring your journal or paper and pen with you. 

Play this worship music video and spend some time Spend some time thinking about the Christmas story and that God sent His Son Jesus. Write a thank you letter or song to God in response.
